R.J...MY PERFECT SON
BORN ASLEEP ON THE 24TH OCTOBER 2008
WEIGHING 3LB 14OZ




I was 28 weeks pregnant when my unborn son was diagnosed with Patau's Syndrome plus there was a
problem with the cord it wasn't giving R.J the oxygen he needed,The doctors wanted to give me a
tablet to stop my son's heartbeat and i told him NO!!!.I was told my son wouldn't survive the next
few days but i carried on with my pregnacy.At 36 weeks my son wasn't moving,i went to the hospital
and had a scan they said my son's heartbeat was still strong but the cord had gone worse and there
was no hope for my son a few days later our fears were confirmed my son had gone to play with the
angels.But how can i live knowing i should be here now feeding and changing my sons nappy and waking
up at night to give him his feed,Its so hard coming home from the hospital empty handed knowing that
you have just give to birth to a wonderful baby boy that you have carried and felt kicking inside
you.R,J was cremated on the 4th november 2008.Always in my heart and thoughts no matter where i am
or what i do....go and play in gods heavenly nursery son and i will see you soon xxxx

He was so precious,and very special
and was so from the start,
We held him in our arms
but mainly in our heart

God sent an angel to the earth
the sweetest angel too,
For such a tiny thing
He had so much to do.

He's gone to play with the angels
In heaven up above,
So keep our tiny memories
And treasure them with love.

Although our darling R.J
Was with us for just a while,
He'll live on in our hearts
We'll remember him with a smile.
